Saving data when you are in a pop-up form window

In almost all sections in Marziplanner, you are able to automatically save the data you have entered or the text you have edited, and close that field, by pressing the SAVE & CLOSE button.

Saving data when you are not in a pop-up

The Calendar section specifically allows you to modify or edit the title/subject of an entry that is showing up in the calendar’s viewing area, directly in this area by clicking on the box of the entry once and waiting a second for the edit cursor. In this particular instance, the direct modification you have made is saved, invisibly in the background, then and there. This allows you to edit and save the title of an entry very simply without having to go through the pop-up form. (Especially useful when you need to change the subject of an entry or to see an entry at a glance, in calendar view).

Saving the whole of Marziplanner before exiting / quitting program

Besides the physical function of SAVE & CLOSE buttons in each of the pop-up forms, we have provided you with the safe-guard for your wedding planning data, where Marziplanner automatically (and invisibly in the background) saves the overall state of the program when you exit/quit the program.

Therefore, you will find that in the main program area, there is no typical “windows menu” that provides “save” or “save-as” functions.

Whenever you EXIT/QUIT Marziplanner, all your data is saved, locked and safely kept in a folder. To learn more about keeping your Marziplanner’s saved data safe, please read-on the next section in the Marzi-Help, How To Keep Your Data Safe.
