1.   Will Marziplanner work on my computer?

You will need a PC to start. Sorry but Marziplanner will not work on Macintosh computers just yet (watch this space!)

• Screen resolution is best at 1024 x 768
• 150MB of hard drive memory
• RAM: 256MB minimum, 512 MB recommended.
• operating system :Windows 2000 or above, or Windows XP
• Minimum processor: Pentium 256-megahertz (MHz) processor or faster (384 MHz is recommended).

It is not essential but advisable to have Microsoft Word and Outlook, and it is desirable to have Adobe and Flash Player installed on your PC too. (Flash Player will come with the installer so you don't need to worry about installing it yourself.)

2.   What if i don't have broadband internet access?

In order to download off the internet it is best to have broadband. If you only have access to a dial-up internet connection we suggest you order the CD Rom which we will send you by Express Post, with your activation key so that you don't have to wait hours for it to download.

3.   How does the download work?

You can either download Marziplanner in Free Trial Mode, or you can purchase and activate your copy straight away. You fill in your details on the website and we will send you an email with the download link. When you click on the link this will download an installer file. You double click this file which will automatically launch the installer and you simply follow the prompts. When finished, a Marziplanner icon will appear on your desktop. Double click this whenever you want to use the program.

4.   Can i use Marziplanner on more than 1 computer?

Yes however your activation code is linked to your personal wedding details, so it will only work for your particular wedding. If you want to have Marziplanner on more than one computer we can help you with copying your database over from where you have first saved it. However this means you will have to update both computers at the same time. We suggest just using one computer for your planning. If you need help simply email us with this request and we will forward you the instructions. support@marziplanner.com.au .

5.   If I have already downloaded Marziplanner in free trial mode and I then purchase the activation code and serial number, do I need to download it again and reinstall?

No. The program you are using in "Free trial" mode is the FULL version of Marziplanner. You simply need to open Marziplanner as you normally would (double clicking on pink "M") and click through to the registration screen. There you can input your serial number and your activation code, which if successful, will unlock the program from trial mode, allowing you to use it indefinitely for your wedding.

6.   I have been using Marziplanner on my old computer and now I have
a new computer. How can I use Marziplanner on my new computer?

To "move" Marziplanner from your old computer to your new computer do the following. Note the FAQ number 4 above regarding using Marziplanner on more than one computer. Also, be aware that any information you have entered on your new computer will be lost when you perform the following steps.

1. Install Marziplanner on your new computer.
2. Copy the Marziplanner database (marzi.mdb) from your old computer to your new computer. For a default install, the database is located in "C:\Program Files\Marziplanner\Database". (For example use a USB key to copy the file.)
3. When copying over the existing marzi.mdb file on your new computer, you will get the prompt "Would you like to replace the existing file?", click on Yes.
4. Start Marziplanner on your new computer and confirm that you have the data from your old computer.

7.   How do I back up my data so it is safe?

As per normal safety management of the files on your computer, you should back up your Marziplanner database to a disk regularly. This is in case something happens to your computer and you lose Marziplanner. Follow the steps to back up:

1. Locate Marziplanner database (marzi.mdb)
2. For a default install, the database is located in "C:\Program Files\Marziplanner\Database".
3. Use a USB key to copy the file or burn the file to a disk
4. Keep this safe, in case you need to download and install Marziplanner from scratch. You will be able to continue working with all your wedding data, picking up where you left off.

8.   Can I download Marziplanner to my work computer?

Please check with your IT department first. Some companies restrict certain software downloads and installations.

1.   I want to try it for free. What do I need to do?

Go to Free Trial on this website and follow the prompts. You will be able to use Marziplanners' full functionality for free, for 7 days, then you will be asked to put in a serial number and activation key which you will need to purchase. You will be regularly prompted to purchase the product, before the free trial period expires. You will need to activate Marziplanner in order to keep using the program after the free trial.

2.   I want to purchase Marziplanner now. What do I do?

Go to Buy Marziplanner on this website and follow the prompts. You will need a credit card (Visa, American Express, Diners or Mastercard). When you have finished the purchasing process you will be emailed a serial number and an activation code with confirmation and your receipt. Alternatively you can pay by cheque or direct deposit and we will post you your registration code when the payment is cleared.

3.   How much does it cost?

If you buy and download Marziplanner off the internet it will cost $99.95. If you choose to purchase the CD Rom and have it sent to you, the cost including packaging, postage, and handling is $119.95.

4.   Is ordering Marziplanner online secure?

Yes. We use Thawte SSL security certificate and 128 bit encryption codes so all your details you send us are secure. We do not retain your credit card details - they are sent directly to ANZ- Marziplanner never has access to your credit card information. View our security certificate here (click on Thawte logo).

5.   How long will it take to get my serial number and activation code?

If you have requested for it to be emailed to you, it will be generated immediately (as long as you are online). If you have contacted us via telephone, you will hear back from us with your serial number and activation code within 24 hours (M-F) of us receiving the order.

6.   Can I buy Marziplanner on a CD Rom?

Yes. You can order Marziplanner by using BUY NOW on the website. There is an option to have the CD Rom sent to you via Express Post, if within Australia. There is a $20.00 packaging, postage and handling charge for within Australia, if you choose to order the CD Rom rather than download it directly off the internet. If you are outside Australia we will contact you to arrange delivery.

7.   What if I want to cancel my order after I have paid for it?

You have 7 days to trial Marziplanner for free. If you decide within one month of purchasing Marziplanner that you cannot use it to plan your wedding, email us your details and why you can’t use it and we will refund your money. Only one refund per customer, must be requested within one calendar month of date of purchase.

2.   What if I am having troubles downloading off this website?

If you are experiencing difficulty, email us on support@marziplanner.com.au and we will either help you through the download or post you the product to download.

3.   Will I get new updates as a Marziplanner customer?

Yes. We will email registered users (i.e. those who have purchased Marziplanner) with free updates that will enhance the program. For major launches of new features we will announce the update on the website, and make it available to all users (trial and registered) through a downloadable section within the site.

4.   What if my activation code doesn’t work?

Have you changed your wedding date? If so you will need a new code. Email us the new date and we will provide you with a new code. Otherwise call us for immedite help on 1300 734743
